Do you feel that suicide is wrong?
by dandingus inminimus got me thinking with his thread about whether or not you know anyone that committed suicide.
i think it might be interesting to see what the opinions are.. what do you think?.
are there cases where it is understandable?

I personally do not think we chose to come here but, having looked around and worked out the deal, we do have the right to decide whether we stay.
Suicide causes a great deal of pain for loved ones left behind but often the person wanting to end their life is in too much emotional pain to consider the pain of others, or they have no loved ones.
Suicide is a selfish act but then continuing to fight for survival on an over crowded planet could be considered selfish.
We all die anyway. At the end of the day, or perhaps before then, I think we have the right to choose when we surrender to the inevitable.

A JW in X-Factor!
by bohm ini saw today that one of the contstants in the danish x-factor is a jw, and she is quite good!
a tabloid had a newspaper where she described her faith, she sounded quite nice and said she had never been teased by her faith.

Faders are indeed a very large doormat
by moshe insorry, to be so blunt- for a whole day i have watched people here patting themselves on the back- we're a large army, oohh, look out wt, we might do something, well not today or tomorrow, but someday!
maybe, i have to just accept that a lot of jw's who are exiting the kh by the back door will never find a backbone to stand up to mummy and elder daddy.. jw's have a learned ability to see themselves in a better light than everyone else sees them.
ask a jw, if they are a charitable religion and they would likely all say they are, but when pressed to name a charity they will be unable to do so.

I am 54 and have seen the same process take place. I hope you are able to avoid the depression and sense of isolation that can follow. Acceptance and moving forward can help.
In my case they are all JWs who shun me. I grieved for their loss a long time ago. Hearing that they are dropping like flies on a hot day, while I continue living, does give me a smug sense of satisfaction.

Organized religion has so often been about power money and conquest. In the absence of religion those in power would find another excuse to fight, plunder and control the masses.
We already see Christianity losing its power and being replaced by a political union called 'the new world order.' It has two gods, power and money.
The muslim movement is still strong and seen as a threat to the new ideal world order. The JWs are a non-event. They have the same aims but 'wait on Jehovah.' It will be a long and fruitless wait.
Ultimately we will have one godless world power and we will all have to conform in order to trade and live.

Moshe. Regarding your original post.
You are a provocateur who makes wild claims that you cannot substantiated. In my case, when I left I had book about the JW's published. I sent it to every JW I knew. I am now shunned by 43 of my 46 relatives.
I also went to the newspapers and had a photo of me holding up the book and an article printed. I spent many years promoting the book which resulted in many bible studies being stopped. Announcements were made from kingdom hall platforms advising members not to read it, resulting in increased sales. Libraries requested copies due to demand.
Many here have paid a high price to stand up and be counted. Get your facts right or just fade away yourself.
We don't need your self righteous crap!
